Feng Shui Xuan Kong Flying Star

Feng Shui Tips Posted In: Basic Feng Shui Art of Placement

There are four basic formations of Xuan Kong Flying Star, namely:
  1. The Wang Shan Wang Xiang (Good for people, good for money) - Facing/Water Star in front and Mountain Star at the back.
  2. Shuang Xing Hui Zuo (Good for people, bad for money) - Both Facing and Mountain Star at the back.
  3. Shuang Xing Hui Xiang (Bad for people, good for money) -- Both Facing and Mountain Star at the front.
  4. Shang Shan Xia Shui (Bad for people, bad for money) - Up Mountain Down Water or Upside down mountain and water stars - Facing Star at the back and Mountain star in front
But what most people does is just stop right here, without considering the form.

The appropriate forms to support the above 4 formations are:
  1. The Wang Shan Wang Xiang - need to have a mountain at the back, and water in front, or spacious. [Wrong setting is when the front has mountain but no water, and the back has water and no mountain]
  2. Shuang Xing Hui Zuo - need to have flat land in front, and water at the back, and beyond the water, mountain. . [Wrong setting is when the front has water, and the back has mountain and no water]
  3. Shuang Xing Hui Xiang - water at the front, and beyond the water, mountain. . [Wrong setting is when the front has mountain but no water, or has water but no mountain]
  4. Shang Shan Xia Shui - a 'reversed house' - need mountain in front and water at the back. . [Wrong setting is when the front has water, and the back has mountain]
Then what will constitute mountain and water, you ask?
The usage of the terms Mountain and Water in Xuan Kong is in the broad sense:
Mountain - includes mountain peak, ridge of a hill, high voltage tower, high building, bridge, big tree, and if on flat ground - any surface that is 1 metre higher - will be considered as mountain.
Water - includes small stream, river, sea and ocean, irrigation ditch, pond, lake, deep valley, road/path (1 metre lower than the surface).
In term of a residence house.

Mountain - includes memorial tablet, ancestral hall, bed, table, kitchen, stove, gas oven, places that are solid, items/utensils that are tall and big (taller than 2 metres), cupboard, surrounding wall, big tree, rockery, narrow and small alley.

Water - includes main entrance/door/gate, inside and outside passageway, corridor, (wide) alley, well, window, ventilating place, ditch/drain (consider the obvious one), intersection of roads/streets, the place where crowded people come and go, bathroom, fish tank, elevator.

Feng Shui Kua Number
admin

According to the Flying Stars Feng Shui School, Rodika Tchi who is an experienced feng shui consultant explains that Kua number is divided into 2 groups of Energy based on Feng Shui. This group is defined in terms of East & West Grouping for Feng Shui under Kua Number.

Understanding what Kua Number means to you for Feng Shui.

The East Group Kua numbers are 1, 3, 4 and 9.

The West Group Kua numbers are 2, 6, 7 and 8.

You can calculate your Kua number and respectively your feng shui group, which will give you a better understanding of the best feng shui directions for the main door, directions to face while working, sleeping, etc.

For example, my Kua number is 1, which makes me an East feng shui group person and the best facing directions for me are Southeast, East, South and North. Lucky for me, my closest people are of the East feng shui group, too, so it is easy to adjust my environment to work the best way.

Now, what do you do if you and your loved one(s) are in different groups, is there a common ground to be found? Of course there is. What you have to focus on is the balance of you and your loved ones drawing on the best feng shui energy throughout the day.

However, let me emphasize that applying feng shui flying star school should become more of a focus once you are sure you have dealt with the clutter in your space and have really fallen in love with your home, developing a supportive and nourishing relationship.

If you know there are still many feng shui issues to be dealt with in your home, like a bedroom that you can’t stand looking at, a front door that is blocked, etc; do deal with these feng shui priorities first.

Another piece of advice? Do not put too much emphasis on it, and I mean neither disregard the feng shui Kua number info nor make your life depend on it. Find a nice, intelligent and comfortable balance.

It is energy, and it is in constant motion, as you know. Just make the best of it at all times.

As what Rodika Tchi had explained based on Feng Shui school of Flying Stars that Kua Number is defined in 2 groups – East & West and categorize as 1, 3, 4 and 9 for East while 2, 6, 7 and 8 for West Group. Original article here.

Kua Number is based on these factors which are:

- Categorize under East & West Group
- Kua Numbers 1, 3, 4 and 9 for East Group
- Kua Numbers 2, 6, 7 and 8 for West Group
- Kua Number for 4 best facing directions
